We loved the Taroona Apartment. It had everything we needed for our stay, and was so convenient to everywhere. The birds, wallabies and echidna in the lovely bush garden were a real surprise. We took the short walk across the little bridge on the property down to the River Derwent. We'd love to come back and stay longer.
This is the kind of holiday shack that is disappearing. We hope you keep it just as it is for as long as possible. We are always down in Tassie visiting family and are rapt to have found another great place to stay. Just loved the Spring Beach shack – has such a warm, cosy feel to it. We read the history at the front of the guest book and can understand why this place feels so welcoming from the moment you walk in. Will be back.
